3.34 Causes of Mutation



  • Mutation - Change in base sequence of the gene 
    • New alleles can be produced
  • Example of causes:
    • Radiation (UVB rays (Sun light))
    • Chemicals Ex: Tar (Called mutagenes)
      • Causes cancer
